Safeguarding at Petroc means we care about the health, safety and wellbeing of all our learners.
The health, safety and wellbeing of learners at Petroc are of paramount concern to us. We listen to our learners and take safeguarding seriously.
To promote a safe environment, our staff selection and recruitment procedure includes all checks on staff and regular volunteers’ suitability, including Disclosure and Barring Service checks, as governed by current legislation. All staff are trained in Safeguarding and Prevent.

STUDENT WELLBEING
The Wellbeing and Support Team provides a safe and confidential service in which we offer one-to-one support and guidance to help learners through any barriers faced whilst studying at Petroc.
Our team has the relevant skills and experience to support you with a wide range of issues and equip you with the tools to improve your mental fitness. We have an online  with a wide range of information and resources that will empower you to build resilience and support your wellbeing.
